Session is designed to prepare parents and students to participate meaningfully and successfully in attaining a post secondary education. Discussion includes pondering questions: why college/vocation, which college/vocational program and educational goals.

This 2-hour long session will include information about deciphering and comparing financial aid awards.
Scholarship Search
Session is designed for participants to gain proficiency in developing an efficient strategy for finding scholarships. Content includes techniques, methods and approaches that are effective in the scholarship search process.
Scholarship Application
Session designed to teach strategies on how to complete a scholarship application. Content includes building a timeline and schedule, and impact on award package.
Resume & Essay Prep
Session designed for students to gain proficiency in writing scholarship resumes and essays. Topics such as what goes into a resume and how to make an essay stand out will be discussed.
Student Loans
Session reviews the different types of federal loan programs. Focus is on increasing awareness of loan programs and loan terminology to enable parents and students to make informed decisions about paying for college.
